After school was over and students were off on summer vacation Godwin boys’ soccer was still on their journey for a state championship. The Saturday after final exams the team made the trip down I-95 to Lake Braddock High School to face Albermarle in the state semifinals.
This past summer Godwin junior Nick Grossman made national headlines with some creative ink. Grossman got something a little more creative than a butterfly on his lower back or a barbed wire tat around his bicep.
While for most, the B lunch bell may signal a rotation from class into lunch study or a transfer from class to lunch, but for Godwin senior Robbie Ellis, it means it is time for him to board a bus that will take him to Hermitage High School.
On May 10 many Godwin student athletes volunteered to help with the Race for the Cure.
