On May 10 many Godwin student athletes volunteered to help with the Race for the Cure.

Godwin Junior Scott Merritt and his father, Jim Merritt, decided to talk to director of student activities Ryan Molloy about Godwin athletes volunteering.  Scott Merritt first became involved with the race for the cure when his mom was the marketing director.

At the race the students helped set up tents, hand out food and drink, and help the kids run their race.

“It was a good opportunity to get Godwin athletics involved in the community,”  said Merritt.
