During SOL week in May, Godwin exceptional education students held a car wash at Godwin.

“Thank you to all of the faculty who participated in the carwash and contributed donations to the functional program.  The students worked very hard and had a great time washing cars.  They also learned a lot about working as a team and gained valuable vocational experience.  We washed 14 cars (and 1 golfcart!) and raised nearly $200 for our program.  We plan to use this money toward community-based instruction and pre-vocational materials for the classroom.  We hope to make this an annual SOL week tradition and meet our $500 goal next year,” said exceptional education teacher Amanda Bolton.
