Sunday Jan. 11, the senior boys who performed in the “Senior Boys’ Homecoming Dance” earlier in the year performed their dance again in front of a packed crowd for a half time show at a University of Richmond basketball game.
Their performance was in the first round of a tournament leading up to a $1000 cash prize.
The senior boys ended up losing to the Midlothian Girls’ Dance Team.
About the outcome of the competition, senior Will Selden said, “I think it was unfortunate not to win, because from my point of view the crowd cheered the loudest for us.“
