Cross Country
- Despite both the girls and boys cross-country teams finishing fifth in the conference and not qualifying for states, senior Sarah Goodrich and senior Zack Dalton both qualified for the state race individually.
- Goodrich placed 11th at states.
- “Overall, I didn’t quite have the season I wanted, but I was still able to compete at states and place all-state. Even though my cross-country wasn’t great, I’m excited for the upcoming track season,” said Goodrich.
- On the other hand, Dalton did not manage to place as high at states, but still had a successful season.
- “It was a surreal experience because I was running against the best in state. I didn’t do too hot, but it was still a fun run and a great closing to the season,” said Dalton.
