On March 20, several Godwin students participated in the Debate Conference Tournament. Godwin came in first place overall.
Results:
Allie Johns – 2nd in Conference for Lincoln-Douglas Debate;
Resolved: Placing political conditions on humanitarian aid to foreign countries is unjust.
Devin Li & Michael Retchin – 3rd place for Public Forum Debate
Seth Olinger & Brandon Whitfield – 1st place for Public Forum Debate
Resolved: Single-gender classrooms would improve the quality of education in American public schools.
