On Friday, Nov. 22 students and faculty participated in a blood drive held by the Medical Club for the American Red Cross. The Medical Club volunteered with the event and helped out the workers from the American Red Cross.
“Red Cross runs a really considerate program with their blood drives,” said Medical Club sponsor Denise Green, “I love the way they involved the community.”
In total 66 people donated blood, which added up to 46 units of blood. With 46 units of blood around 138 lives could be saved.
“It was good,” said senior Eva Lambert, who donated blood on Friday, “I’m glad to know that I saved a life; it was scary but worth it.”
