golfers in the state. If 4,5, and 6 players can get better, we can
make a run for states,” said Thomas.

with their teammates and other teams,” said Thomas.

Boy’s Volleyball

season and didn’t miss a beat in his time away.”

What should Godwin fans expect this year?: “Expect to see us compete
at the top this season. We return three starters that could carry us a
long way,” said Hicks.

What makes you smile when you think about your team?: “I like seeing
the team have fun on the court together,” said Hicks.

Girl’s Volleyball

What should Godwin fans expect this year?: “I think fans should expect
some exciting volleyball fro us this season. I think due to some
changes with our team, we have potential to have a repeat of last
season…but it will not be easy,” said Wakefield.

What makes you smile when you think about your team?: “The hard work
we put in everyday combined with the amount of fun we have. Our
players have learned how to enjoy working hard and for me that makes
me smile,” said Wakefield
