Coach  Quote We were 12-4 in dual meets this year and looking forward to a strong team next year. We had a young team this year with four freshman starters and two sophomores.” (Bob Harris) “The boys team finished 8th at the conference meet. Even though team wise, one might view the placement as disappointing, I am optimistic that the future has greater things in store for this team. Aside from a few competitive distance runners, the team is comprised mostly of promising young runners, throwers, and jumpers.” (William Winston) “The girls team finished 4th this season at the conference meet. We were only .5 points away from 3rd. With the addition of a few new athletes next year and some of our athletes being more seasoned, we should compete for a conference title next year. Great things are in store for the future of the girls program.” (William Winston)
Player  Quote “We put our mind set into “Hard work pays off.” We’d do extra sets of everything we did just to out work ourselves and our opponents. It takes a lot of work to be the best and this season I am proud of my team and myself in what we have accomplished.” (Rivera) “We have a young talented team, full of hard working individuals that will make Godwin track a force to be wrecking with in the future.” (Tivenan) We had a great season. Everyone put forth their best effort. We have a lot of young talent so from each year forward girls track will get better and better. I am so thankful for the people I have gotten to know through track and this great opportunity track has provided for me these past four years.” (Philhower)
