Godwin Track and Field does well at states

The weekend of March 9, four Godwin students earned all state honors at the indoor track and field state tournament.

Senior Ryan Niblock placed fourth in the triple jump at 42’1 inches.

Junior Maddie Philhower was the runner up for girl’s pole vaulting with a height of 10’3 feet.

Senior Aaron D’Amato earned all state honors by placing sixth in the shotput with a throw of 45’2 feet.

Sarah Goodrich was the 5A state champion in the 3200 with a time of 11:07:67.

The ladies 4×800 consisting of seniors Najwa Labban, Maria Gergoudis, Sarah Goodrich, and sophomore Caroline Behl placed fourth.
